Description:
PIDKey Lite is designed to view, update and save information about keys for M$ products in the database.
Additional information:

It allows you to replace PIDKey by Ratiborus, Ultimate PID Checker by janek2012 and VAMT. PIDKey Lite is the successor to PIDKey and take the best ideas from it. The main feature of the program is the creation of a SQL base in contrast to PIDKey, where the base was actually stored in text files. The program you to add to new keys in two modes (key modes will be described below) and check them, find the need keys in the database, update about the information about them and (or) them move to the blocked by the region.

- unpack a new version from the downloaded archive to the folder with a new name;
- rename the file of the database pkbase.db, which comes complete with the new version,
e.g. pkbase_NEW.db (this base may be required to add
from it blocked and uncertain keys);
- copy the file of your base pkbase.db from the folder of the old version of the program
in the folder of the new version of the program;
- launch a new version of the program (with your base) and immediately produce
Repair of the base (Crtl-R) to make possible changes in the structure of the base.

A little bit about keys, how some keys from others technically:

The key consists of letters, when it is processed, the signs "-" are deleted. The letters are used from the list for keys, they alphabet go alphabetically, but some are missed because of the similarity to numbers. There is no separation or correspondence by the editors of products with used letters.
There are two types of keys, first, no "N", they are encoded by a complex algorithm, even to read the key parameters, the processor of a few seconds works with a 100 percent download. These are the keys for Vista - Windows 7, office 2010 and almost all CSVLK keys.
The keys starting with Windows 8 and above, from the 2013 office and above are encoded by a simple algorithm, their body always has a letter "N". For this algorithm, there is a key generator, it is possible to decode and encode them, create a key for the desired edition of the product. The check is fast, the processor is almost not loaded.
Some simple CSVLKs are with the letter "N", are created according to a simplified algorithm.
When deciphering, the letters are replaced by numbers, for example, "B" it is "0", "C" it is "1". The letter "N" is special, it is not translated into the number, its position in the body of the key, this is used in the generation and decoding. There are some restrictions on its location in the body of the key, for example, it is never at the very end of the key.
