ANSYS GRANTA EducationFeatures of GRANTA EduPack for training
- Reliable information
Obtaining reliable information. Instructors often require information about materials: property data or application information to illustrate a lecture, comparative data between materials, or data sets for student projects. The GRANTA EduPack database contains a library of reliable material information.
- Selection of materials
Systematic approach to the selection of materials. Selecting the right material for an engineering application or finding a suitable replacement is a key skill in industry. GRANTA EduPack allows you to learn and apply the rational choice methodology, first proposed by Professor Mike Ashby, which is now one of the standard approaches to solving such problems.
- Design projects
Support of design projects. Project-based learning is valuable for degrees in engineering, design, and science. Students gain knowledge and acquire professional skills such as teamwork, communication and project management. GRANTA EduPack supports learning with data, tools and resources such as project ideas and student exercises.
- Materials Science and Engineering
Introduction to materials science and engineering. Support introductory materials science and engineering instruction with a suite of resources that help students explore the relationships between process technology, design, and materials properties.
