This short course is for all those people who suffer from back pain, or are concerned that their regular physical activities may cause damages to their back. It provides guidance on how to look after your back through the correct lifting, carrying and handling of various objects to prevent damaging the back. In the event of suffering from non-specific back pain, the course also gives some simple steps to take to relieve the pain and return your back to a good condition.The course uses real video, and each o contains a downloadable set of course notes that can be printed and referred to at your convenience.Everyone suffers from some form of back pain at some stage in their life, and an awareness of the potential causes and ways to mitigate any risks is an important step for all. This includes mothers with small children, workers with physical activities such as building, construction, warehousing, supermarket and shop packaging and even those who take part in occasional leisure activities like sport. It is important to understand what works for you and what to avoid, as we are all different.This is not a course for those suffering from injuries as a result of specific accidents, where medical advice is needed.
