Description:
A powerful text editing tool with syntax highlighting for scripts and programming languages is a small and compact program - Text Editor Pro. The program can be compared with the well-known text editor Notepad ++, their functionality is similar, they differ only in size. The utility works in all OS versions released by Microsoft. Russian language has been added in the latest versions. It is small in size, compact and absolutely free. Previously, Text Editor Pro was called EditBone. The program is not open source and is written in Delphi/C++.
Text Editor Pro can be used by many professional programmers. It really has a huge number of options for fine-tuning, many functions can be called by calling the context menu. The syntax highlighting of almost any programming language makes it equally good for many coders (Graph Drawing, C++, Fortran, Java, Python, Perl, COBOL, DSP, DOT, Foxpro, DWScript, Ruby SQL and more). Multi-tab allows you to keep several documents open at the same time.

- you can choose more than a hundred options for customization;
- the developer added more than a hundred ready-made skins to the utility;
- the program also has a Unicode character table, a tool for converting numerical units, SQL formatting;

About portable:
Portable versions of the program are provided by the developer, they work without installation on a PC.
To prevent a portable program from saving settings in a user profile, the TextEditorPro.ini settings file must be located in the same folder as the program.
About Russian:
For political reasons, starting from version 24.0.0, the program is released without the Russian language. To Russify the interface, you need to put the Russian.lng file in the Languages folder next to the executable file.
The file in its main part contains a translation into Russian.
About the bonus:
There is a bonus in the distribution:
1. Additional skins for the program. To expand the choice of design, just copy the Skins folder to the root folder with the program.
2. Add-on for PDF viewer. Taking into account the capacity of the program! Copy the files PDFium.dll and PDFium.license to the root directory with the program and the PDF viewer and its options will become available.
3. SFTP extension. Copy the TGPuttyLib32 or TGPuttyLib64 folder according to the bitness of the program you are using and the SFTP directory will be available.
4. Windows Explorer shell extension. Taking into account the capacity of the program! Copy the fileTextEditorPro.dll
and use Command Prompt as Administrator to register it.

deregistration: regsvr32.exe /u TextEditorPro.dll
5. Spell checking. Taking into account the capacity of the program! Copy the Dictionaries folder and the Hunspell.dll and Hunspell.dll files to the root directory with the program and the spell checker and its options will become available.
6. Source code. Latest stable version of Delphi's TTextEditor control . Development environment - Delphi 11.1 Alexandria, but may work with older versions (not tested). Namespaces require at least Delphi XE2.
