In the first challenge, the celebrities must prepare a dish based around a mystery ingredient, the likes of which include butter beans, pineapple and smoked haddock. Then they prepare the next street food success story, a dish they'd be happy to serve to the paying public.

Today's guest judge is Michelin-trained chef Poppy O'Toole, who challenges contestants Dawn O'Porter, Chris Hughes, Jaki Graham, Jamie Lomas and Michelle Heaton to recreate one of her favourite dishes, each of which contains an element of potato - Poppy's favourite ingredient. After that, they are tasked with serving up a two-course dinner party menu to secure their place in the quarter-final.

For the second quarter-final, the celebrities take on the pairs challenge. Each duo has their own recipe and must deliver two identical portions of that dish, but will be working on separate benches, and only one of them will have access to the recipe. The recipes in this round are both desserts, a bakewell tart and a millefeuille. Judges Grace Dent and John Torode have one more challenge up their culinary sleeves. The contenders need to prepare their most splendid two-course menu for three special diners - Celebrity MasterChef 2024 champion Vito Coppola and former finalists Rochenda Sandall and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey.
