DQ Projects dwellings 1.2.0
File size: 13.7 MB
dwellingPS is a plugin for Autodesk® Revit® that draws and calculates panel schedules for 120/240 V (3 wires) dwelling units without creating electrical power circuits. This plugin uses the standard and optional methods of the NFPA 70 ® standard.
The plugin has a limit of 84 poles on the panelboard, with a graphical representation of a two-column circuit across. It uses the following manufactured number of poles: 6, 18, 24, 30,42, 54, 66, or 84. This value is selected according to the next size up of the total number of poles of the circuits.
The plugin doesn't use the panel schedule templates of the Revit, it uses generic annotation families for the drawing of the panel schedules, all the data is given according to the NFPA 70 ® standard, such as the wire size, ground wire size, breaker rating, and conduit diameter.
It is an alternative to the normal workflow that may be used in the electrical projects in Revit, the user can save the data in Txt files for each panel board, and then it can be loaded, so the users can have a database for the different projects.
The user has the option of the allowable currents of the wiring of the NFPA 70, for copper at 60°C, 75°C or 90°C.
In this version, the user has two types of panelboards
Normal: Panelboards that supply final circuit loads or branch circuits.
Distribution panels: Panelboards that supply several normal panels with the data insertion mentioned before, for this type this can be only used the optional method.
