Description : Lead a small group of settlers and build a city in the wild lands on the edge of the known world. Get resources, hunt, fish and farm. Provide people with basic necessities, as well as weapons and armor. Fight against the elements and repel the attacks of enemies (for those who do not like fighting, the game has a peaceful mode).
Additional information :
Mining, growing, creating. Get 14 different types of raw materials: wood, stone, clay, metal ore, herbs, honey and much more. Harvest 17 types of food, including wild berries, fish and game, as well as 10 types of various crops. Create 32 types of items and materials within a multi-level economy.
Build and develop. More than 50 different buildings are available to you. Build a modest settlement and turn it into a lively city. With the growth of prosperity, the settlement will attract new residents, and the city center and housing will go through several stages of development. Upgrade your production buildings to increase their efficiency and be able to create more complex items.
Developed system of agriculture. Choose from 10 types of crops with different characteristics and organize crop rotation to maintain soil fertility, not lose crops due to drought or frost, and prevent plant diseases. Cultivate fields, remove weeds and stones, increase fertility and adjust soil composition to maximize crops and feed the population.
Advanced city simulation. Settlers live their lives and do their jobs in real time. You can see how they transfer raw materials from remote mines to the city for further processing and creation of items; how food and manufactured items are delivered to dwellings and trading shops - or to warehouses for storage. Develop the road network, build wagons and improve storage methods to optimize the movement of goods and prevent them from spoiling.
Random cards. Farthest Frontier is playable over and over again, with random terrain and resource generation making each game play unique. Players can adjust the amount of water and mountains in the terrain and create incredible maps that will be the ultimate challenge in their own right.
Idyll or chaos. Adjustable difficulty settings allow you to create a calm game without invasions and epidemics - or set the maximum difficulty, which will be a serious test even for the most experienced city planner.
Interaction with the environment. Grow the economy based on what raw materials you have available and produce goods to exchange for those resources that you lack. Build fences to prevent deer from trampling your fields and bears from getting to the cellars with food. Place wells in the shade of trees to prevent drying out. Clear the land for agricultural plantings, but try to save important wild resources like berries and medicinal herbs.
Good old diseases! Provide your settlers with clean drinking water to avoid outbreaks of dysentery and cholera. Gather berries and plant vegetables to provide a varied diet and protect against scurvy. Make sure they are shod and clothed - this reduces the risk of catching tetanus, rabies or a cold. Build a healer's hut to isolate the sick and provide them with herbs and medicines. And don't forget the rodents that spread the dreaded bubonic plague - dispose of your garbage, store your food securely, and use the services of rat catchers.
Repel intrusions. You can start the game in peaceful mode, and then you don't have to fight at all - or choose the appropriate difficulty level, in which raiders will attack the city. Build wooden palisades and stone walls, erect towers and barracks, hire and equip soldiers to defend the city. The richer your settlement becomes, the more often the greedy gaze of robbers and foreign armies will fall on it.
