This selection of twenty-five essays by Andrew Smith is devoted to Neoplatonism and especially to Descriptioninus and Porphyry. It deals with Descriptioninus' development of the Platonic Forms, and includes a lengthy assessment of Porphyry's contribution to the Platonic tradition.
