Plot:Chris Wang is 13 and is about to start a new phase of his life: high school. But there is still a whole month of summer to go before that. But that is not as easy-going as it might sound. Because his father is constantly away on business and is therefore practically never there, he often has to cope with his mother Chungsing alone. But as is the case at that age, it is not always easy - not for either of them. Chris' older sister Vivian is not much help either. She is already looking forward to starting college soon. And Grandma Nai Nai is constantly arguing with Chungsing. So Chris takes matters into his own hands. He wants to learn to skate, flirt confidently and somehow smooth over his relationship with his mother.
