The last four contenders face the first challenges of finals week at a luxury five-star hotel in London, where they must prepare a meal for 24 of the industry's most revered chefs. The finalists have four hours to each prepare one course each for this exclusive event, before returning to the MasterChef kitchen to prepare a single perfect dish.

The final three contestants attend a masterclass with chef Ahmet Dede in which he demonstrates how he uses Irish and Turkish seasonal produce to create dishes that celebrate both cultures. They are then whisked away to Inish Beg, a private island, where they will prepare a lunch menu including plates of food based on their own passions and memories for some of Ahmet's family and friends. The chefs are then thrown in at the deep end as they join Ahmet's kitchen for a lunchtime service in a two-Michelin-star restaurant.
