Description
If you're here, I probably don't need to explain what HDR is or convince you that the sooner you learn to work with it, the better. New standards have permanently broken away from the previous era, and this process is irreversible. Almost a decade ago, Amazon and Netflix set this machine in motion, and this year, Brazil became the first country in the world to launch 3.0 television-television in HDR technology.I've designed this training to be as practical as possible. I've been professionally involved in color correction in HDR since 2018, and I've tailored this training with professionals in mind. You won't find techniques related to color correction itself, look design, or film emulation here. However, I will efficiently and, most importantly, effectively teach you the essential principles of HDR color correction in each of the currently used HDR standards: HLG, HDR10, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and HDR Dolby Vision.I'll teach you how to prepare the timeline properly, create trim passes, and generate metadata-even the ones that can't be exported directly from DaVinci Resolve but are regularly requested by content providers. You'll learn how to export this data, how to generate mezzanine files, and how to prepare files for the end client or any external content provider.I'll demonstrate working techniques using real-world examples and entire scenes, not just isolated frames taken out of context. Additionally, I'll show you how to set up a home studio for 100% reference work with HDR material at minimal cost! After this training, you'll be fully capable of professionally performing color correction in all HDR technologies and delivering it appropriately to either the end client or any HDR content provider. You'll also gain access to our discussion group, where we continuously expand our repository of confirmed recipes for preparing materials and metadata specific to various providers in different countries. This channel will provide ongoing support, especially during your initial projects, so you can feel confident and at ease.Be one of the first in your area to offer content delivery services in HDR standards. The investment in this training will pay off quickly!Let's get started!
