This is a convenient, free text editor for Windows. It provides users with all the necessary functions for working with texts and supports text files in the format txt, nfo, ini, inf, log, html, css, php, asp, js, xml, c, cpp, vb, resx.
This editor is simple and easy to use. Its window can be docked on top of other windows, its transparency can be adjusted, and text can be inserted into the editor from other documents or web pages by simple drag and drop.
The main features of the program:
Hekapad has a text search and replace function, as well as the ability to conveniently and quickly insert special characters. The program can automatically save and backup an open document, which allows you to restore it in case of an incorrect completion.
All in all, it's a simple but quite functional text editor. And although it cannot compete with large office suites, it is quite capable of replacing the standard Windows Notepad.

The portable version is provided by the developer and works without installation on a PC.
