Description:
Cryostasis is a spectral inertia effect that can gradually distort your sound until it is frozen in time to infinity. It is equipped with spectral effects and controls to shape the frozen tail character. They are all controlled by a stepless freeze knob or an automatic switch that can be timed in milliseconds or musical beats.

Freeze Designer
You can use various controls to change the sound of the freeze effect. For example, the Size parameter will change the time length of the spectral window, which will completely change the sound character. Lower values sound unnatural and robotic, while higher values sound smooth and atmospheric.

Slow Motion
When the freeze effect is combined with the built-in pitch control, a tape-stopping effect is created where the sound seems to slow down over time until it is completely frozen - forever. Or use a frequency shift for dissonant risers and downshifters.

Ambient Dreams
The Wash control turns the freeze effect into a lush and smooth modulated reverb tail. Easily create spatial ambiance and soundscapes that melt into any of them. It can even be used as a sound design tool to create frozen vocal loops to load into your favorite sampler.

LoFi Glitch
Use the built-in Bit and Rate reducers to add some LoFi magic to your sound. Pair this with lower size values and you can create messy robotic glitches for blurry dusty soundscapes.

Filter Transitions
Cryostasis is great for transitioning between musical sections, as well as creative intros and endings. The built-in high and low pass filters can help boost and cut the effect, as well as boost and cut it. Imagine that your sound dissipates in the air or dissolves into darkness.
