In 1986, the synthesizer field was littered with digital technology. That's why the original AX73, with its all-analogue signal path, went unnoticed in splendid isolation. Martinic took everything that was valuable in the original AX73 and turned it into a powerful, flexible software tool that fits perfectly into the lineup of modern synthesizers.

The settings view offers a clean, easy-to-use set of options for quick editing.
The key layout, which emulates the look of the original hardware, has also been updated with many features - no need to figure out the menus!
The robust preset manager allows you to quickly save and sort your favorite presets into "collections" that you can easily export and share with your friends!

New effects section

Synthesizer output processing with eight built-in effects: Compressor, Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, Distortion and EQ.
These effects can be used in any order - just rearrange them by dragging and dropping in the FX chain.

Some borrowings

The best elements of other synths in the AX family have been reworked into a feature-rich interpretation of the AX73. Examples include the additional chorus settings and arpeggiator from the AX60, the second VCO and sub-oscillator from the AX80, and the VCO's extended octave range up to 32', as in the AX60 and 80.

The power of modulation!

The AX73 plugin also has much more modulation capabilities than the original. It has four envelopes per layer (three of which are assignable) and four assignable LFOs per layer. Considering both layers, this results in an impressive eight envelopes and eight LFOs.

Split or layer to create your own sound

Uniquely, the AX73 has two layers that can be split across the keyboard - allowing two patches to be played simultaneously - or stacked, providing an extra dimension to the sound. In addition, each layer has its own independent arpeggiator with 11 built-in modes, including some fancy modes such as Shuffle and Improv that can be used to create melodies quickly.

Our AX73 comes with 600+ genre presets created by a group of respected sound engineers who have left their mark on some of the most beloved synths of all time.
