Description :
Open Shell - earlier Classic Shell (development which was discontinued in December 2017), a utility that allows you to enable the classic design of the Start menu in Windows 7/8/10. Open Shell also adds a toolbar to Explorer to perform operations such as navigate to the root directory, cut, copy or paste an object, display folder properties, and more.
Key features of Open Shell:
• Choose between Classic and Windows 7 styles
• Drag and drop application icons with the mouse cursor, and delete, rename, and perform other actions on objects from the context menu.
• Display of recently opened documents (the number of documents in the list can be adjusted by the user).
• Built-in search bar to quickly find the programs you need.
• The ability to change the design using skins.
• Advanced customization options for appearance* and functionality**.
Direct mapping of user libraries.
*It is possible to cascade display of folders in the pinned area (as it was in XP).
• Support for Microsoft's Active Accessibility mechanisms.
• Transformation of the list call "All Programs" from the Windows menu into a convenient cascading menu.
• Adds a toolbar to Windows Explorer to perform operations such as navigating to the root directory, cutting, copying or pasting objects, displaying folder properties, and so on.
• Display in the status bar of free disk space and the total size of files.
