OpenHashTab3020 setup
Interface language: Russian, English, etc.
System requirements:
Windows 7 or later (x86 / x64 / ARM64)
1 GB RAM or more (for effective use of more than 512 files at the same time)
Description:
is a small open source system program similar to HashTab that can be used to check file hashes from the File Explorer context menu. Supports a wide range of hashing algorithms. OpenHashTab calculates and compares the hash values of files in the Windows context menu. The software is easily integrated into the operating system, making files and directories easy to check.
Features:
Support 28 algorithms, see Algorithms
High performance hash calculation
Appearance corresponding to Windows
High DPI screen support
Support for long paths *
Multilingual interface
Checking hashes against VirusTotal with a button
Hash check against checksum file (supported: hex hash next to file, * output sum (hex or base64), corz .hash, SFV)
Hash export to file or clipboard (supported: * sum output, corz .hash, SFV)
Optional context menu option for faster access
File associations and offline mode
* to the extent that Windows and configuration support it. How to enable long paths on 1607+ for better support.
Algorithms:
CRC32, CRC64 (xz)
xxHash (XXH32, XXH64)
xxHash3 (64 and 128 bit variants)
MD4, MD5
RipeMD160
Blake2sp
SHA-1
SHA-2 (SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512)
SHA-3 (SHA3-224, SHA3-256, SHA3-384, SHA3-512)
BLAKE3 (256bit, 512bit)
KangarooTwelve (264bit, 256bit, 512bit)
ParallelHash128 (264 bit) and ParallelHash256 (528 bit)
Streebog (GOST R 34.11-12) (256 bit, 512 bit)
Usage:
Most of the actions should be obvious. Some not so obvious features are listed here:
You can select multiple files or folders, all files will be hashed, directories scanned.
Double click the hash to copy it.
Double-click the name or algorithm to copy the string in sumfile format.
Right click popup menu: copy hash, copy filename, copy string, copy all.
Counters next to the status text in the format (match/mismatch/nothing for error control)
The columns are sorted lexicographically, with the exception of the hash column, which is sorted by match type
Selecting a tab in sumfile will interpret it as such and hash the files listed in it.
If a hashed file has a sum file with the same file name plus one of the recognized sum file extensions, and the option for it is enabled, the file hash is checked against it.
