PVTsim Nova's CCS module is a stand-alone PVT simulator developed by Calsep in response to growing industry demand for carbon capture and storage (CCS) simulation technology. The CCS module combines accurate and robust models for CO2 and H2 with modeling capabilities specifically designed for CCS engineers, including CO2 impurity assessment, CO2 solubility in brine, PH phase diagrams, and hydrate modeling for CO2-rich liquids with little water. The models are rigorously validated against CCS-specific experimental data, ensuring accurate and reliable simulations for CCS applications.
