SmartFTP allows you to transfer files across the Internet.

It features an Explorer-like, customizable interface and supports drag-and-drop functions.

Multiple FTP connections can be opened at the same time, and you can copy files from one remote host to another (FXP).

Remote-host directory information is cached for future viewing, and FTP URLs are supported.

Other features include a favorites list, the ability to resume broken downloads, a global history, background transfers, proxy support, a passive transfer mode, and the ability to perform recursive downloads, uploads, and deletes.

If you are a Windows user but are not familiar with the world of FTP, SmartFTP may not be your best preferred client.

Otherwise, if you have used FTP client experience before, it will be easy to choose SmartFTP and use it. SmartFTP does not have any form of learning curve, but it has many features that take some time to adapt.
SmartFTP provides value-for-money services for novices, while also providing scalability to include all the functions required by more advanced users.

This is a very user-friendly and effective program and highly recommended.

Favorites: Removed DreamHost importer as the API to retrieve accounts is no longer available
UI: Improved responsiveness.
Browser: Added "Compare result" column which shows the result of a visual compare operation
Added ability to associate a Local favorite with a transfer queue task. This is only relevant when scheduling Local to Local transfers.
UI: Added key tip direct access without pressing the Alt key first. Alt+F to open the File menu, Alt+H for the Home tab, Alt+V for the View tab, etc.
