Description:
SoundSwitch - easily switch between sound devices
If several are connected to your computer at once audio devices: home audio system and studio monitors, headphones with a headset and a microphone for recording podcasts, for example, you know how painful it can be to switch between them using system tools. Make life easier with the free SoundSwitch utility.
SoundSwitch lets you switch between audio playback and recording devices with customizable hotkeys, eliminating the hassle of navigating through submenus and dialog boxes. The user can select from the list of devices available in the system only the necessary ones or switch between them one by one. The program informs about the selected device using a graphical or sound notification (the desired type is selected in the settings, it is possible to use your own sounds). In addition, the icon of the active device is displayed in the notification area of ​​the taskbar (can be disabled if desired). After launch, the program is available in the same place, in the system tray, from the context menu of its icon, you can go to the settings, the system mixer and the Sound panel.

You can also double-click the system tray icon. After setting up SoundSwitch, you can use the following hotkeys:
? To switch between playback devices, press: Ctrl Alt F11 (default) or double-click the SoundSwitch icon on the taskbar.
? To switch between recording devices, press: Ctrl Alt F7 (default)

No more need to navigate through multiple menus and screens. Just set up SoundSwitch once and you'll be able to switch between your devices like never before!

Right-click on the SoundSwitch icon in the system tray and select "Settings". Now select the devices you want to switch between. You can also change the keyboard shortcut if you wish. If you want the application to start automatically when the computer boots, select the Start automatically with Windows check box.

Supplied in Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Croatian, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese and Russian. There will be more translations. If you need SoundSwitch in your language, feel free to contribute to the Weblate project.

SoundSwitch can also take care of your recording devices. You can set special hotkeys for playback devices.

SoundSwitch provides five types of notifications when you change devices.

Banner
Uses a custom frame that is always displayed on top, useful for in-game use. This is the recommended default display style.

Windows Notification
Uses the Windows tooltip. In the case of Windows 7, this is a small popup that opens next to the taskbar icon. In Windows 10, this is the notification system that slides out from the right corner of the screen.

Sound notification
This notification is a sound played on the switched device. This way, when you switch devices, the new device will "ring" to let you know it's selected.

Individual sound notification
Same as sound notification, but you can specify the sound to play.

If you want to go back to the silent toast notification, open the file selector and just click Cancel. This will remove the installed sound.
