Welcome to Volume One of an expansive two-part swimming instructional program featuring Coach Randy Reese. Delving into the finer details of swimming techniques, this program covers a wide spectrum of vital topics, including dedicated kicking drills, mastering the butterfly stroke, perfecting turns, honing the backstroke, refining the freestyle, and achieving precision in the breaststroke. Additionally, Coach Reese introduces innovative "shoe drills" to enhance swimming skills further.This program serves as an invaluable resource not only for dedicated coaches but also for competitive swimmers of all levels, offering a wealth of knowledge and practice drills to elevate their swimming prowess and achieve new heights in the sport.Coach Randy Reese boasts an illustrious coaching career that spans over five decades, commencing in 1969. His legacy is prominently marked by his remarkable achievements, including coaching the University of Florida Gators swimming and diving teams to four national championships. Under his mentorship, athletes clinched an impressive tally of eighteen Olympic gold medals, along with eight silver and nine bronze medals. Six of Coach Reese's swimmers achieved an astounding total of sixteen world records, while he guided seventy-nine women to attain over 500 All-American honors and sixty men to secure 200 All-American honors. Such remarkable accomplishments have earned Coach Reese a well-deserved place in the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Currently, Coach Reese continues to share his wealth of knowledge and expertise as the Director of Aquatics and Head of the National Team at the Clearwater Aquatic Team (CAT) in Clearwater, Florida.
