After inheriting a home from a recently deceased grandfather she never knew, Liz Jennings travels to the small Texas town of Brockmeyer. Soon after she arrives, Liz receives a surprise visit from a popular Austin conspiracy radio show host named Seamus "Shame" Fuller.
