Quote:The Father of the Prophets (4) Abraham and his guests of Angels The story of Abraham and his guests of Angels is mentioned in four chapters of the Quran; they are: A. 51:24-37 B. 11: 69-76 C. 15:49-60 D. 29:31-32 Upon seeing the Angels, Abraham did not know that they are Angels. Abraham thought that they are but human guests. Also, Lot saw the Angels but he did not know that they are Angels In addition, Saint Mary saw the Angel but she did not know that he is an Angel It follows that you might have seen the Angels but you did not know that they are Angels! Nevertheless, every man will see the Angels for sure! In his book, you will read about: When the Angels entered upon Abraham and said unto him: 'Peace!' Abraham replied: 'Peace!' Abraham did not recognize them Abraham brought out a calf, and placed it before his guests; but they did not eat Abraham said, 'Will you not eat?' And he was scared of them In the Quran: the Angels neither eat nor drink In the Bible: the Angels do eat and drink Why Abraham was scared of the Angels? The Angels said unto Abraham: 'Do not be afraid.' The Angels gave Abraham the good news of the birth of Isaac Sarah came in, struck her face, and she said: 'A barren old woman!' Then Abraham said unto the Angels: What is your mission? The Angels said, Lo! We are sent unto a guilty folk (Lot's people) We may send upon them stones of clay, baked in fire Abraham was scared of his guests because they did not eat The Angels said: 'Fear not. We are sent to destroy the people of Lot Sarah was standing by, laughed at the good tiding of having a son, Isaac Sarah said: Shall I bear a child when I and my husband are old The Angels said unto Sarah: Are you astonished by Allah's command? With the power of Allah? The mercy of Allah be upon you, O people of the House of Abraham Abraham begins to plead for the sinful people to whom Lot was sent as a warner Abraham began to plead with the Angels about the matter of the people of Lot Assuredly Abraham was forbearing, compassionate and devoted to Allah The Angels said unto Abraham: O Abraham! Forsake this! Leave your argumentation. Truly your Lord's command, for their destruction, has gone forth Your Lord's chastisement of the people of Lot cannot be repelled or averted Tell my servants: I am the Forgiving of believers and the Merciful to them Tell my servants: My chastisement is the painful chastisement Tell my servants about the guests of Abraham when they said: Peace! Abraham, said: Peace! 'Lo! We are afraid of you Why Abraham was afraid of his guests? The angels said: Do not be afraid! O Abraham! Lo! We are the messengers of your Lord Allah sent us to give you good tidings of a knowledgeable boy namely, Isaac Abraham said: Do you give me good tidings, of a boy, when old age has befallen me? The angels said: We give you good tidings in truth, sincerely; so do not be of the despairing' Abraham said: No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord, save those who disbelieve in Allah Abraham said unto the Angels: 'So what is your business, O you who have been sent by Allah?' The angels said: We have been sent to a disbelieving people of Lot, to destroy them The angels said: We are to destroy all the people of Lot, except the family of Lot; We shall save all of them, because of their faith, except his wife The angels visited Abraham, giving him the happy news of a child, Isaac The angels have charged with carrying out Allah's order to destroy Lot's people Abraham, said, 'Lo! Lot is there, so how could you destroy them, O Gabriel? Gabriel said, assuredly we shall deliver Lot and his family, except his wife Abraham and the Angel of death You might have seen the Angels (1) You might have seen the Angels (2) A Real Story Every man will see the Angels (A) Every man will see the Angels (B) Every man will see the Angels © You will see the Angels face to face at the moment of your death
