Pauline has two children, Damien, 8 years old, and Rose, 1 year old. Her husband, from whom she is in the process of separating, refuses to help her financially and humiliates her whenever he can. As she drives her son to his father to retrieve his console, Damien sees his mother kneeling in the garden in front of his father's inert body, under a scaffolding, bathing in a pool of blood. Damien panics, Pauline too. She takes her car, brings her children home… And finally calls the Samu. The emergency doctors ask her to return to the scene, surprised that she left Olivier's house and that she took so long to call them. Morgane Sabbaly, a new investigating judge, and Marie Hermann, major of the gendarmerie, are called to solve this case.
