Boot to any OS
Easy2Boot is a freeutility for Windows 10. In computing, booting is the process of restarting a computer operating system. With Easy2Boot, you can boot to almost any operating system from a single USB disk. Use a writable USB flash drive or hard drive and payload files to make an E2B USB disk.
This utility supports three different menu systems to develop various boot processes. Other useful utilities include to repair crashed systems or for dual booting.
Three menu systems
Easy2Boot offers three menu systems:
Advertisement
- Legacy is the most reliable and allows you to boot most payloads, like DOS, WinXP
- Windows 7 to 10. agFM gives you a direct boot with a secure UEFI64-boot bypass, suitable for many Linux systems.
- Ventory for Easy2Boot isn't ideal for all payloads but works with WinPE ISOS or FreeBSD.
Create an E2B USB disk
To create an E2b USB disk, download the self-extracting file. Ignore the Windows Defender warning and select 'Run anyway'. Then, look for the new folder on your desktop for E2B installation files.
Run E2B.exe to make your E2B USB drive. This process will erase all partitions and content. Complete the following steps:
- Choose E2B menu options.
- Select the drive you want to use.
- Click the gear icon for particular options, partitions or if you can't see the drive letter.
- Click the red arrow to create your E2B USB drive.
- Copy your bootable files (ISO, WIM, VHD, and others) to the menu folders defined on the first partition.
- Finally, run the Windows batch file (cmd) on the USB drive to make all the payload files contiguous.
Easy2Boot special options
When creating your E2B drive, access the options through the gear icon to create three partitions. Use Windows XP, Windows 7, or 8 to create 3 partitions of the E2B disk on external storage. Currently, most Windows 10 systems can't access many partitions on a USB flash drive.
Other options are agFM for direct UEFI-booting and Ventory for Easy2Boot if you need to add an alternative Ventory to the menu system.

Easy2Boot helps you to create a USB booting disk to boot to various operating systems. Be aware that this tool isn't for beginners, as you need to make disk partitions and locate and copy the necessary payload files.
