Description:
Denemo is another free tool designed to make the working life of musicians easier, this application should not be taken as a music editor, it's just a visual interface that allows you to quickly enter notes. The program is ideal for the LilyPond music editor, allowing you to quickly prepare musical scores for editing and publishing in the above editor. In addition, from Denemo it will be possible to export scores to the ABC music notation format, where notes are encoded using a letter system, and will also allow you to create MIDI files.
The program has a variety of input methods, so everyone will definitely choose their own most suitable style. The user will be able to enter notes not only from the keyboard and mouse, but also using MIDI devices. Thoughtfully placed controls allow you to quickly acquire control skills. The training module will allow you to quickly master not only control, but musical literacy in a playful manner. Professionals will even be able to create macros to speed up the writing process.

Denemo is endowed with a huge number of functions that allow you to quickly write scores for any instrument, it will allow you to transpose, randomize, make shifts, set duration, intervals and much more. Almost every element in the application window allows you to call the context menu to select auxiliary tools, features or tips.
Naturally, after writing an excerpt, the built-in player will allow you to play the written segment of the melody or the whole piece. There are functions for importing MIDI files, almost all files of the LilyPond editor and MusicXML.
Denemo has a module for converting a document to a PDF file, to a MIDI file, to a PNG image, or can print it out. There is probably no point in talking about the ability to prepare an exported piece of music for the LilyPond notation editor format.

About portable:
You can run Denemo on any Windows computer without the need for installation - even in your local library.
Double-click the folder named denemo-2.6 portable , and then double-click the Denemo file in that folder. (This is a Windows batch file, Denemo.bat ). It will launch Denemo - it takes a long time to launch the first time you use it.
The current version allows you to set Denemo.bat as a launcher for .denemo files so that you can double-click on a denemo file to launch Denemo.
Note that you can drag and drop the denemo-2.6 portable folder onto your memory card if you want to be able to use Denemo anywhere.
