Differential diagnosis and risk for misdiagnosis will be discussed and thelatest treatment methodologies will be discussed. Special attention will be paid to understanding the somatic/physical symptoms of unresolved trauma, the role of polyvagal theory and autonomic nervous system responses and the role of neuroplasticity in both understanding and treating trauma related symptoms in adults.
