Following a refit aboard the Wallendorf factory train, the metal emissary is deployed to Romania on its first diplomacy mission. Tasked with guiding the emissary through the wild mountains of Transylvania, engineer Karl Finsch and his security chaperone Seffi Achterberg must overcome the perils of politics and the paranormal if they are to survive.
